Black Adam: Dwayne Johnson Reveals July 2020 Production Start

It looks like Black Adam is actually going to happen this time.

In a tweet, Dwayne Johnson revealed that production on the long-delayed Black Adam film will begin in July 2020.

"This project has been with me for over 10 yrs. Production begins this July. Appreciate the support," Johnson tweeted.

Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows) will direct the upcoming Black Adam film. Collet-Serra and The Rock have already worked together on Disney's forthcoming Jungle Cruise, currently in post-production.

Zombieland: Full List of Columbus’s (Official) Rules

It's been 10 years since Zombieland graced theaters and presented us with a very specific set of rules to survive the zombie apocalypse.

With Zombieland: Double Tap in theaters Friday, you can bet that it will absolutely introduce more rules on Columbus's (Jesse Eisenberg) list. (Heck, we already know what Rule #52 is.)

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker to Answer ‘As Many Questions As Possible’

When Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is released in theaters later this year, it will bring to a close the Skywalker Saga that began all the way back in 1977 with Star Wars: A New Hope and, according to director J.J. Abrams, this new film will look to answer 'as many questions as possible."

Speaking to EW, Abrams discussed his feelings on the monumental task of wrapping up a saga that began over 40 years ago. Abrams is not taking that honor lightly, and he even admitted that "endings are the thing that scare me the most."

China Cancels Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Release Reportedly Over Bruce Lee Controversy

Chinese fans of Quentin Tarantino may not be able to catch the director's latest film in theaters.

According to THR, regulators have canceled the release of Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood. The film was originally set to debut in China on Oct. 25, but those plans have fallen apart.

Though the Chinese regulators have not given an official reason for the cancellation, THR is reporting that it may have to do with the film's depiction of Bruce Lee, which has been met with controversy. The film may have to undergo re-editing to see a proper release.

FF14’s NieR-Inspired Raid’s Release Date Revealed Alongside New Trailer

Square Enix released a new trailer for the the 24-player NieR inspired YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raid for Final Fantasy XIV and revealed that it will be available on October 29, 2019.

The YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raid will be added as part of Final Fantasy XIV's Patch 5.1 titled Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty, which is the first major patch update following the release of the Shadowbringers expansion.
