Pokemon Sword and Shield Devs Break Down Online Functionality and the Wild Area

One of the biggest questions surrounding Pokemon Sword and Shield is how the Wild Area works when it comes to online functionality. After playing the first 90 minutes of Pokemon Shield we got the chance to speak to producer Junichi Masuda and director Shigeru Ohmori for details.

The Wild Area is meant to be an ever-changing trainer’s playground. Different Pokemon appear based on the weather conditions. And if you're connected to the internet, you can be paired up in the background with other players who are also playing in the Wild Area from all around the world. They'll also populate that area allowing you to see trainers doing different things from Max Raid Battles to camping and cooking curry.

Zombieland Director Teases Potential Spinoff for Zoey Deutch’s Madison

Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer has expressed an interest in making a standalone movie focused on a breakout character from Zombieland: Double Tap.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the director teased a potential spin-off movie for newcomer Madison, played by Zoey Deutch, as he explained that he "would love" to make a solo story following the adventures of her ditzy character in the aftermath of Double Tap.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Game Designers Rate IGN’s Operator Ideas

Rainbow Six Siege aims to one day have 100 operators. At current Ubisoft is only at the halfway mark, and so have plenty more special ops soldiers to design before it hits that goal. So, with the idea of ‘helping’ Ubisoft out, we pitched the design team six new operators. We’re absolutely positive each one is a brilliant, flawless character that will neatly fit into the game’s tactical environment. However, no one on the IGN team is an actual professional games designer, and so the Rainbow Six Siege team has a few ... different ideas about our designs. Here is the feedback we received on all six of our operators from Rainbow Six Siege game designers Jean-Baptiste Hallé and Emilien Lomet.

Death Stranding Features a Conan O’Brien Cameo

US talk show host Conan O’Brien has revealed that he has a cameo in Death Stranding.

In a clip uploaded to the Conan YouTube channel, O’Brien can be seen visiting the Kojima Productions offices during a trip to Tokyo. After a brief profile of Death Stranding, Kojima is seen asking O’Brien if he’d like to be in the game. Presumably this was all arranged in advanced in order to make a joke out of it all, so naturally O’Brien agrees. And so commences a bizarre facial capture session.

While the clip is humorous in tone, O’Brien really is in the game. He’s… strange, too. As revealed by Kojima in a tweet, O’Brien’s character - The Wondering MC - will gift you a Sea Otter Suit when you connect with him. Yes, you can dress Sam up as a sea otter, and make him swim in a river like an otter. Just when you though Death Stranding couldn’t get any weirder.

Check out the four new images below at the start of our Season 1 images gallery:

While the image of Yennefer is ripped straight from the trailer we saw back at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, the other three images offer new shots of Geralt, Roach, and a mysterious hand (Ciri's?) touching a monster's claw... Is it one of Geralt's kills perhaps?
