Batwoman Reveals the Fates of 3 Major Batman Characters
Warning: this article contains some spoilers for Batwoman: Season 1, Episode 6! You can check out our review of the new episode here.
While Batwoman finally shows us the Arrowverse's version of Gotham City, it's not one populated by the usual cast of heroes and villains. As we learned in the pilot, Bruce Wayne is long gone, having mysteriously vanished several years ago. Most of his enemies seem to have followed suit, with only a handful of cameos in last year's "Elseworlds" crossover serving as proof that villains like Mister Freeze and Bane ever existed. But that all changes in a major way in Batwoman's sixth episode.
Does Death Stranding Actually Introduce a New Genre?
One of the biggest questions leading into Death Stranding’s launch was — does Hideo Kojima’s first post-Konami game actually introduce a new genre, as Kojima claimed it would before launch? Now that we’ve had plenty of hands-on time with Death Stranding, we’ve been able to determine firsthand whether the ‘Strand Genre’ really is its own thing. And the answer is: not quite, but the way it evolves certain gameplay ideas are absolutely worth being explored in other games, which is something Kojima called for as well.

Scoob! Steals Twitter’s Heart with ‘Wholesome’ Debut Trailer
The first trailer for the new animated film Scoob! debuted today and surprisingly, the reaction seems... mostly positive? Often, remakes and reboots of iconic properties can face an uphill battle when trying to justify their existence, but something about this trailer apparently warmed the hearts of many a Twitter pundit.
The cast certainly helps. The original voice of Scooby-Doo (Frank Welker) is back, and he is joined by Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Gina Rodriguez, and Will Forte. Welker has voiced every animated iteration of Scooby-Doo since the first TV series in 1969.
So, what does the internet have to say about the return of the Scooby gang? Let's take a look:
Prettybirdll and Shayera_hal are both stoked about the film, especially the designs of the female characters.
The Batman: Newcomer’s Mystery Role Revealed?
UPDATE: The first rumblings on what actress Jayme Lawson's "notable role" might be in The Batman have surfaced.
According to io9, Lawson will play Bella, "a grassroots political candidate running for office in Gotham." And, as the site points out, Bella is also the name of the female lead in that other Robert Pattinson-led franchise, Twilight.
Our original report follows.
The already talented cast of Matt Reeves The Batman has reportedly added newcomer Jayme Lawson to its ranks in an undisclosed role, according to Collider. If Lawson's name doesn't ring a bell, that is because The Batman will be her first film role, as she just recently graduated from The Juilliard School, one of the world's leading performing arts schools.
