Why LittleBigPlanet Was the Best Game Pitch This Ex-Sony Exec Ever Saw
In his many years at Sony, Microsoft, and now Google, LittleBigPlanet is still the best game pitch Phil Harrison has ever heard.
In this month's episode of IGN Unfiltered, Ryan McCaffrey sat down with former PlayStation executive (and current Google VP) Phil Harrison to talk about his favorite game pitch, as well as Harrison's time at Sony, Microsoft, Google, and much more.
"There's a few stories to it," Harrison began, "First of all, that whole thing came about because a guy who worked for me, called Pete Hawley, spent a lot of time in a pub in Guildford with Alex
and Mark
from Lionhead and, persuading them over many pints of beer, over many, many months, about leaving and starting their own company

Don’t Fall Into This Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Game-breaking Bug
EA is currently working on a fix for a game-breaking bug in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order that forces players to restart the campaign, losing potentially hours of progression.
The bug can be found on Dathomir, one of the planets provided as a destination option when the game allows players to choose their own path for the first time. The area is limited for lower-powered players as it requires the use of Force abilities to properly navigate. However, a chasm that should require a double-jump to cross can be navigated across without the jump. The problem is, you can’t make the journey back without the skill.
Because of Jedi Fallen Order’s single-slot save mechanic that is tied to meditation points, it means any players who meditate while across the chasm are then stuck there for good, unable to progress due to a lack of correct force powers and unable to back-track because of the need to double-jump. The only solution is to start the game all over again.
Borderlands 3’s First DLC Campaign Announced, Release Date Revealed and New Trailer
Gearbox has revealed the first DLC campaign for Borderlands 3. The campaign add-on is called Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot, and the DLC is slated to be released on December 19.
Like it says in the name, Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot sees the Vault Hunters teaming up with Moxxi on a score. The mark? Handsome Jack’s ruined casino space station which still houses untold riches.
The DLC adds a new galaxy destination with unique casino zones that are as gaudy and opulent as Handsome Jack would have wanted. Moxxi has a crew of her own that players will be working with, and the campaign missions will focus on the ultimate, space casino heist. The DLC will be included in the season pass and deluxe edition.

Lucasfilm President Unsure What’s Next for Star Wars After Episode IX
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has opened up about her plans to move the Star Wars franchise forward after The Rise of Skywalker, saying it will be "an incredible challenge."
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Kennedy discussed the forthcoming final act of the Skywalker Saga, along with her plans for the next Star Wars entry after Episode IX, as she shared the complexities of detaching from the original story to carve a new way forward for the franchise.
"It's an incredible challenge, and it is something that we're in the middle of, and I can't even begin to tell you where this may end up," Kennedy said. "I think whatever this next movie is, and how it begins to define a new way forward, it's something we want to take plenty of time and plenty of conversation and careful thought before deciding exactly what we're going to do."
