The thrilling new trailer delivers a melange of fast-paced sequences, stunning cinematography and a bright color palette to present the story of Mulan's family, as their eldest daughter takes bold strides forward on her path to becoming a fierce warrior.

"Loyal, brave and true," Mulan (Yifei Liu) says in the trailer, which you can watch below. "It is my duty to protect my family."

The Best Anime Series of 2019

Each season dozens of anime air, but only a few come out on the top as contenders for the best anime of the year. From classics getting a second chance to a new trio's struggle for survival, 2019 had a lot to offer for anime.

For IGN's best anime series award, anime must have completed airing their season in the U.S. in 2019 in order to be eligible. This means My Hero Academia's fourth season will be up for consideration in 2020.
