Bayonetta, Vanquish Double Pack Coming in 2020
Sega announced that remasters of PlatinumGames' Bayonetta and Vanquish are coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 18, 2020. The games will run in 4K at 60fps on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
This announcement confirms a Microsoft store posting from earlier this month that listed Vanquish with a February 2020 release date. Bayonetta was later listed on the Microsoft store as well.
Sega is celebrating ten years of Bayonetta and Vanquish by launching the action titles in a 10th-anniversary bundle, which includes a steelbook featuring art from Bayonetta on the front, and from Vanquish on the back. The physical version costs $39.99.

On a brisk March morning in Burbank, California, IGN along with other members of the press were invited to Warner Bros. Studios to visit the set of DC's upcoming Birds of Prey film starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. When we first arrived, the crew took us to the "War Room," which held a treasure trove of props, costumes, and some lovely pieces of concept art. If it were possible to step into the imaginative and chaotic mind of Harley Quinn, it would probably look just like that room.
Producer Sue Kroll (A Star Is Born) informed us that Robbie envisioned Birds of Prey as a "girl gang film," and emphasized that it's a standalone movie. "

Minecraft on PS4 Now Supports Cross-Platform Play, Bedrock Edition
Minecraft has announced that starting tomorrow, December 10, 2019, the Bedrock version of the popular crafting RPG will be coming the PlayStation 4. And along with it comes cross-platform play between the PS4 and the other Bedrock editions of Minecraft on other consoles.
That means that starting on December 10, Minecraft players on PlayStation 4 can cross-platform play with other players on the Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and iOS and Android versions.
This also means that PlayStation 4 players will have their Minecraft purchases and progress carry over across different platforms, and gain access to the Minecraft Marketplace. This is a digital store where players can purchase worlds, skins, mini-games, and mash-up packs.
New BioShock Is Finally Confirmed in the Works
2K has announced a new BioShock game is officially in the works at a newly formed internal studio, Cloud Chamber. However, don't expect this new game in the near future.
Cloud Chamber is a new studio, with locations in both Novato, California and Montreal, Quebec, headed by Kelley Gilmore, who has worked at 2K's Firaxis Games for nearly two decades in various capacities on Sid Meier's Civilization and XCOM.
According to 2K's announcement, the next BioShock will be in development "for the next several years." 2K has not officially announced any platforms nor targeted release date for this new BioShock.
Netflix’s The Witcher Series Almost Had Ciri as the Star
Netflix’s The Witcher series was almost written with Ciri as the main character and narrator.
Showrunner Lauren Hissrich has revealed that the first draft of her script for the TV adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher books was very different to the final version we’ll get to watch.
Speaking in a new video on Netflix’s YouTube channel, Hissrich talks about how she wanted the three main characters - Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri - to flourish as individual characters before they start interacting with each other.
She says that this is made difficult for those two female characters if you’re following the books as they’re first seen through Geralt’s eyes before you get to know them properly. This led to her initially trying out a completely different take on the story that she hasn’t talked about before.
Disney Becomes First Studio to Cross $10 Billion at Global Box Office
Disney has become the first studio in history to surpass $10 billion at the worldwide box office in a single calendar year.
According to Variety, Disney has crushed its own records as it was reported back in July that the studio had earned $7.67 billion at the box office at that point in the year, shattering the previous record for a total year's earnings, which was also set by Disney in 2016 with $7.61 billion.
