Being a New Rainbow Six Siege Player in 2019

My team has breached the consulate building and we’re cautiously bearing down on our objective from all sides. I hear bullets and explosives traded elsewhere on the floor as I approach a reinforced room with no clue what’s inside. Comms go dark for two of my squad, though it seems they downed three foes before they fell. I round a corner and find a single patch of unfortified wall - all that separates me from the goal.

I punch a hole in the plaster with my trusty breaching hammer, sidestepping back into cover in time to avoid desperate gunfire from within. I wait for the defender to reload before peeking into the room through my scope, scanning from right to left as I move. Spying the top of someone’s head across a counter I take a pot-shot, missing by a fraction. I retreat into cover again momentarily and, frustrated by my panic, toss a grenade in the threat’s direction.

Don’t Worry, The Rise of Skywalker Doesn’t Have a Credits Stinger

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker finally hit theaters on December 19 and viewers want to know if they should stick around following the end of the movie for a post-credits scene.

Well, lucky for you, we've got easy answers.

Is There a End Credits Scene in Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker?

Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker does not have a post-credits scene. This shouldn't come as much of a surprise as this is in theme with the series. In the history of Star Wars movies, there's never been an after-credits scene. That's in stark contrast to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where new movies tend to include multiple mid and post-credits scenes.

How Much Every Star Wars Movie Made Opening Weekend

With the final opening weekend box office numbers for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker now in, we can compare its haul to how much the other movies in the Skywalker Saga debuted with.

Obviously, the earnings from previous decades should be looked at a bit differently and adjusted for inflation, but it's still interesting to see how each of the modern-era Star Wars films, including the Star Wars Stories, did when they premiered box office. It's notable that Rise of Skywalker is the first saga "trilogy-ender" to not out-perform the previous two episodes. Then again, its domestic take is in line with initial predictions (on the low end, though).

Hideo Kojima’s Top 10 Movies of 2019

With only a little more than a week left in the year (and the decade), it's natural for people to post their own personal Top 10 lists of movies and TV shows. That includes Hideo Kojima, who tweeted out his personal (semi) ranked favorite films of 2019.

Among Kojima's picks were IGN's Best Movie of 2019, Parasite, along with Joker, Netflix's Marriage Story and The Irishman, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - which came out in 2018, but right at the end.

Technically, most of Kojima's favorites here came out in 2018, so it appears he's just counting them as 2019 films because he watched them this year.

Box Office: Rise of Skywalker Opens Weaker Than Force Awakens and Last Jedi

The shock here wouldn't be that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was the number one movie this weekend, but in how much it made - a whopping (estimated) $176 million domestically.

While not on par with the openings of The Force Awakens ($248 million) or The Last Jedi ($220 million), The Rise of Skywalker is still one of the biggest box office debuts of the year and, per Variety, the third-best opening for a movie in December - behind the two aforementioned sequel trilogy movies.

Grabbing another $198 million internationally, Episode IX now stands at $374 million worldwide.

SNL: Eddie Murphy Brings Back Mr. Robinson, Gumby, and Other Classic Characters

For the first time in over three decades, ex-cast member Eddie Murphy hosted Saturday Night Live. Expectations were high, considering all of Murphy's iconic SNL characters.

And Murphy gave us a lot. Mr. Robinson (his Mr. Rogers satire), Buckwheat (the Little Rascals character as a crooner), Gumby (as a cranky showbiz vet), and Velvet Jones (seller of get-rich-schemes) all made big appearances.

Decades later, Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood has undergone a significant amount of gentrification, with some of Robinson's neighbors now paying over a million dollars for an apartment in his building.
