Avengers: Endgame Sets Up Marvel’s Eternals
While Marvel's Eternals movie is still very shrouded in secrecy, a newly released plot synopsis sheds more light on how the movie fits into the larger tapestry that is the MCU. It turns out that the events of Avengers: Endgame directly set the stage for The Eternals.
As spotted by CBR, Marvel Studios just released an official synopsis of The Eternals, one which teases "an unexpected tragedy" in the aftermath of Endgame. That tragedy apparently forces the Eternals out of hiding and back into their ancestral role as humanity's protectors, suggesting the new movie is also drawing inspiration from the plot of Neil Gaiman and John Romita's 2007 Eternals comic.

Check out the full synopsis below:
Marvel Studios' The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind's most ancient enemy, The Deviants.
The outstanding ensemble cast include Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as the cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayak as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as the aloof longer Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. Kit Harrington was cast as Dane Whitman.
Directed by Chloe Zhao, who helmed the critically acclaimed Sundance film The Rider, and produced by Kevin Feige, The Eternals opens in U.S. theaters on November 6, 2020.
While it's anyone's guess what this "unexpected tragedy" is, it's not exactly surprising to learn Endgame is directly setting up The Eternals. Thanos himself is a Deviant, so it stands to reason the Eternals may feel guilty for failing to prevent an enemy from annihilating half of all life in the universe.

Here’s Why Fans Think Dante Is the Next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Character
A new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter is on the way, but there’s a chance we already know who it is. Thanks to some mysterious dates Capcom announced earlier this month, fans think Dante from Devil May Cry is coming to the Smash Bros.
Nintendo announced that there will be a special Super Smash Bros. Ultimate video presentation hosted by director Masahiro Sakurai on January 16, 6 am PT/9 am ET. The 35-minute livestream will feature an “in-depth look at an upcoming DLC fighter.” Naturally, this means speculation has already begun on who the next Smash Bros. fighter might be.

Coincidentally, Capcom producer Matt Walker posted a Tweet earlier this month announcing an update for Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition for Nintendo Switch. In a short online video, Walker told fans to keep an eye out on some upcoming dates for special Devil May Cry news. One of those dates is January 16, the same day as the Nintendo Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter reveal livestream.
While the dates could be a coincidence, this was enough for Smash Bros. fans to believe that Dante has a pretty good chance at becoming the next DLC fighter. If true, Dante would join other Capcom characters like Mega Man on the main fighting roster. But Smash Bros. DLC speculation is rampant, and it can still be anyone. We’ll find out on January 16 who the next DLC fighter is, but Dante would make a good fit for the roster. For more, check out our Devil May Cry 5 review and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate review to see how the two properties might mix. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Matt Kim is a reporter for IGN. New Doom Eternal Trailer Reveals Big Enemies and Gory Kills
Bethesda and id Software have released a new trailer for Doom Eternal. The new footage gives the first real glimpse at the story, but this being Doom the main attractions are all the new demons and the gruesome ways you can kill them.
Doom Eternal is a sequel to 2016’s Doom reboot and it brings hell to Earth. Id Software looks to be going bigger and badder with Doom Eternal, showing off towering new monsters that dwarf the Doomslayer.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/01/14/doom-eternal-gameplay-trailer-2"]
Some of the new features in Doom Eternal include new weapons, a grappling ability for both traversal and enemies, as well as, of course, new glory kills to rip and tear the bad guys.
Doom Eternal was originally slated to be released in 2019 but was delayed to 2020. IGN was able to get hands-on with Doom Eternal on Stadia, and while the jury is still out on Google’s streaming service, Doom Eternal looks to deliver the mayhem.

No Time to Die: Billie Eilish Will Perform James Bond 25 Theme Song
Update:
Billie Eilish will be performing the theme song to No Time to Die, the 25th film in the James Bond franchise.
"The No Time to Die title song will be performed by Billie Eilish. Billie has written the song with her brother Finneas and is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song," a tweet from the official 007 account revealed on Tuesday.
Eilish commented on the announcement, saying, "It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I'm still in shock."
[poilib element="accentDivider"]
Original story: Billie Eilish has shared a montage of photos of iconic Bond girls on social media, further fuelling fan speculation that she might be the artist behind the No Time to Die theme song.
The pop star posted a snapshot of Bond girls past and present to her Instagram story on Tuesday, starting with Léa Seydoux, who is reprising her Spectre role as psychologist Madeleine Swann in the 25th James Bond film.
The initial post was followed by images of leading ladies from Casino Royale, Skyfall, Quantum of Solace, Die Another Day, Thunderball and From Russia With Love.

While no official confirmation has been given at this time, evidence that Eilish is singing the No Time to Die title track has been mounting over the past few days, as fans recently noticed that the singer and her brother/musical collaborator Finneas are both followed on Instagram by Cary Fukunaga, the director of the upcoming film, who only follows 81 people on the platform.
If the rumours turn out to be true, Eilish would become the youngest artist to ever record a James Bond theme song at just 18 years of age, following in the footsteps of Sam Smith who was 23 years old when he recorded his Bond ballad, Writing's On The Wall, for Spectre in 2015.

In other music news, 007 producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli recently confirmed that Hans Zimmer will be stepping in to score James Bond's latest adventure just three months ahead of the British spy franchise's 25th theatrical release.

BioShock Collection for Switch May Be on the Way
The Taiwanese ratings board may have outed a Switch release for BioShocks 1, 2, Infinite, and the collection comprising all three.
Reported by Lootpots, BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition and BioShock: The Collection have all been rated for Switch. That implies that each game in the series may be sold separately, as well as in a full series pack.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2016/09/14/bioshock-the-collection-review"]
While not an official confirmation, ratings like these often pop up when a publisher is about to announce a new game release. We've contacted 2K Games for a statement.
When it first arrived in 2017, we gave BioShock: The Collection an 8.2 review, saying it was "a great introduction for newcomers, but returning vets will find little new here."
