The Outer Worlds Nintendo Switch Version Delayed Due to Impact of Coronavirus
The good news is, aside from keeping employees safe, there's another silver lining to this delay. Private Division stated it would update this date shortly, once the team can determine a new timeline. This delay gives Switch owners more time to prepare, so here are 13 tips and tricks for getting started in The Outer Worlds. For those who've already jumped in, you can still look forward to the DLC which is set to come out sometime this year. Animal Crossing Nintendo Switch Preorders in North America Not Impacted by Coronavirus
We can confirm that the manufacturing of some Nintendo products for the Japanese market has been delayed due to the impact of 2019-nCoV coronavirus outbreak. Nintendo does not anticipate a significant impact on our broader global supply chain for systems and accessories at this time, and product sales in North America and Europe, including preorders, are not affected. We would like to express our concern and support for all those affected by the coronavirus during this challenging time.Original Story Follows: [poilib element="accentDivider"] The coronavirus outbreak in China is impacting Nintendo in regards to their shipment of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch collector’s edition, along with other Nintendo products. According to a post published on the official Japanese Nintendo website, the company announced, “Due to the impact of the new outbreak of coronavirus infection… the impact on the shipment of Nintendo Switch Collectible Animal Crossing Set is expected to be inevitable.” IGN was able to independently verify the translation. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=animal-crossing-new-horizons-limited-edition-nintendo-switch&captions=true"] At this time, Nintendo of Japan is saying only the reservation start date for the Animal Crossing collector’s edition has been affected, not the release date of the game itself nor downloadable software. The pre-order date for the set has been changed from February 8 to “to be determined.” A second notice on the Nintendo website announced the outbreak is expected to create production and shipment delays for standard Nintendo Switch and Joy-Cons as well as delay shipments of the sold-out Ring Fit Adventure. Nintendo announced the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch edition last week for North America and there’s been no word on whether those shipments have been impacted. Pre-orders have already gone up on most major retailers. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/01/02/animal-crossing-new-horizons-deserted-island-getaway-package-primer-trailer"] There have been discussions on whether the outbreak will impact orders for the Animal Crossing Switch in North America, but considering the release date hasn’t been affected yet for Japanese customers it’s very much a wait-and-see situation.
