Just a few weeks before the port's release, the PC specs for Death Stranding have been revealed. Death Stranding is set to release to PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store on July 14, and we now know what it will take to run this game on PC. As is usual for PC games, publisher 505 Games and developer Kojima Productions have released details about running the game at a number of different settings including 30 frames per second, 60 fps, and more. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/04/06/death-stranding-pc-photo-mode-showcase-1-trailer"] "The minimum and recommended PC specs revealed today give players an idea of what type of equipment they will need to get the most visually enhanced experience," a press release from 505 Games reads. To run the game at 720p/30fps, the minimum specs required are as follows: Windows 10 operating system, Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor, 8GB of memory, GeForce GTX 1050 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB graphics card, Version 12 of Direct X, 80GB of hard drive space, and a Direct X compatible sound card. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 Details Revealed

Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone launched last night, June 10, and we now have the full details on what changes have come with this new update, including the addition of Captain Price as a new operator. One of the new updates to Warzone adds "twists" to each match. The first of these twists is the Fire Sale that temporarily discounts most of the items at a Buy Station up to 80% or may even make items free. In addition, bringing back teammates is completely free during one of these Fire Sales. These sales last 60 seconds and Loadout Drops are not discounted. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/06/11/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-warzone-official-season-four-trailer"] The second twist is a non-lethal, but heavily armored Supply Chopper that can be destroyed for high quality items like three UAVS, two armor boxes and munitions boxes, a gas mask, a grenade launcher, and tons of Cash at a minimum. The Supply Chopper may not shoot at players, but it is sure to draw a crowd. The last twist is Jailbreak, an event that will release all eliminated players back into a match. There will be a one-minute notice before a Jailbreak occurs, and it can happen at any point during the middle of the game, as with the other twists. It's important to know that these twists can occur during a match, but that doesn't mean they always will. There will also be three limited Warzone Modes debuting in Season 4 - Juggernaut Royale, Realism, and Warzone Rumble. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=call-of-duty-modern-warfare-and-warzone-season-4-screenshots&captions=true"] Juggernaut Royale is a Battle Royale mode variant and will bring in Multiplayer's Juggernaut suit into the battle via three airdropped care packages. Those who wear the suit will have "higher health, a mini-gun, and a sweet music track to accompany you during the Warzone match." Realism follows the same rules as Multiplayer's Realism and features a minimal HUD and increased headshot damage. Warzone Rumble is a 50v50 Team Deathmatch that shakes up the Warzone formula and varies up a traditional match. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/05/28/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-the-story-so-far-trailer"] Season 4 also will bring three new maps that are completely free to all players in Multiplayer, Ground War, and Gunfight. Zhokov Scrapyard is the new map for Standard Multiplayer and is a returning map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Barakett Promenade will be available for Ground War players and will be familiar territory for Warzone players. Gunfight players will be able to jump into Trench, which is, unsurprisingly, a "network of interconnected trenches." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/05/25/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-code-fearless-pack-official-trailer"] Three new modes will also be added during season 4, including Team Defender, One in the Chamber, and All or Nothing. The new Battle Pass will offer all players two new weapons for free - the Fennec SMG (Tier 15) and the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle (Tier 31), and players can earn a Legendary assault rifle blueprint (Blank Stare), a Legendary watch, an SUV vehicle sking, a Legendary sniper blueprint (Brookside), a Legendary handgun (Gavel), and much more. Additionally, those who purchase the Battle Pass will unlock Captain Price and his Operator Missions instantly at Tier 0. An Operator skin and Mission for Rodion, a new battle horn customization item, and a 10% XP boost that lasts the Season will also be unlocked. If players can make their way to Tier 100, they can unlock Captain Price's NVG-look with the "Nightfall" skin. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/06/11/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-warzone-season-four-battle-pass-trailer"] Speaking of the battle horn, this new item will allow for players to use such themes as the "Ride of the Valkyries" as they charge into a fight, achieve a victory, or just for fun. Lastly, Operators Sgt. Kyle 'Gaz' Garrick and Roze will be arriving later in Season 4 for purchase. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Have a tip for us? Want to discuss a possible story? League of Legends Animated Series Delayed Into 2021

Arcane, the League of Legends animated series, has been postponed to 2021 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Riot Games' Vice President of IP and Creative Development, Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street, posted an official message on the studio's blog on Wednesday, explaining the team's decision to push back the release of Arcane from late 2020 to some time in 2021. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2019/10/16/riot-games-arcane-reveal-trailer"] "Everyone here at Riot is bummed," he said. "We were really looking forward to bringing you the show this year, but we need to balance our excitement for the story with the safety and well-being of our teams and partners. Our revised plan is to release Arcane in 2021, so stay tuned to our channels for more specific updates as we get closer." Street then went on to highlight some of the complications of working from home on such a production. In particular, he referenced the challenge of trying to manifest the same creative energy on a video call that would be generated in a studio, noting that this was one of the major setbacks for the team, along with technical issues. "Creative development and production is hard, especially in a world where you can't see your coworkers IRL," he admitted. "We have video meetings now, which help, but they are no substitute for being in a room where we can really get the creative energy flowing. Combine these issues, along with the technical difficulties of production at the international scale, and the problem becomes a lot bigger." [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=igns-top-25-modern-pc-games&captions=true"] Arcane was one of the new projects announced at Riot's League of Legends tenth-anniversary celebrations last year, along with Legends of Runeterra, the studio's new multi-platform game, and Valorant, a tactical first-person shooter game. In our review of Valorant, out worldwide on June 2, we said that the "flexibility of its magically-infused cast paired with a deep arsenal makes for a magnificent competitive canvas," which makes you want to "keep playing until there's nothing left to master." For even more on these projects, check out our complete rundown of announcements from the Riot Games League of Legends livestream. Sony Patent Suggests AI Could Take Over if an Opponent Ragequits

A patent filed by Sony suggests that artificial intelligence could one day take over if your opponent quits a multiplayer game. The patent was first posted to Reddit by user WolfgangKaipZ yesterday. You can check out the full patent listing on the PatentScope website here. The abstract summarizes what this technology would achieve in a convincing manner. "When the first player quits or stops responding before the multiplayer game has completed, the first player is replaced by a computer-simulated version of the first player that selects its actions based on probabilities calculated from the tracked actions of the first player. The multiplayer game is thus able to continue without interruption or disruption, and the first player's playstyle is preserved." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/05/29/ps5-the-future-of-gaming-trailer"] This means that if we take a fighting game, for example, this technology would allow a match to continue even if your opponent left, via ragequit or unfortunate disconnect, by tracking their previous inputs and replicating how they would play in the following minutes. This would be very handy across many games to stop players who feed, go AFK or rage quit from ruining the match for everybody else. As always with patents, you should take this with a pinch of salt, but it's worth considering that it may appear in practice in the future. Yesterday, we caught another patent that gave us our first glimpse at what the UI of the PS5 could look like. Crash Bandicoot Merch Leaks, Potentially Teases Characters and Redesign

A new set of PlayStation licensed Crash Bandicoot merchandise has been found online, teasing redesigned characters and even a redesign of Crash himself. Twitter user iWanderr brought the merchandise to our attention on Twitter, posting pictures from the website of Blackfire, a European merchandise distributor. After being able to view them earlier today, the listings for the new merchandise have since been taken down. What's interesting about this merchandise is that it looks like Crash has received a redesign since his iconic look in the N. Sane Trilogy, more akin to the Crash Bandicoot Mobile game that launched earlier this year. What's more is that one of the pins shown in @iWanderr's tweet features a new character design, referred to as "Tawna." Untitled-1 Tawna Bandicoot first appeared in 1996's Crash Bandicoot as the eponymous hero's girlfriend and has made cameo appearances in a number of subsequent games. Given that these two characters share the same name, it looks like she has been redesigned for whatever the future holds for Activision's Crash Bandicoot series. This new Tawna sports a blue and yellow mohawk among other aesthetic tweaks. Given that one of the pieces of merchandise found is Crash holding a smartphone, this could all be in relation to the mobile game, and Tawna may feature in it in the near future - but really, the door is open. These designs could potentially refer to a new project we're yet to learn about. In other PlayStation news, Sony's rescheduled PS5 reveal conference will take place later today, and you can check out our guide for how to watch it. Amazon’s PS5 Price Listing Confirmed to Be an ‘Error’

Yesterday, Amazon.co.uk added a number of listings related to PlayStation 5, including a number of games and, most notably, the PS5 console itself at a price of £599.99 (approximately $746 USD). Amazon has now confirmed to IGN that these listings were an error. As noted by Wario64 on Twitter, Amazon UK posted listings for 500GB, 1TB and 2TB models of PS5 (currently, PS5 is listed only with an 825GB model), all priced at £599.99. At around the same time, a reported 118 listings for PS5 games also appeared on the retailer's site, including apparent unnamed games from publishers such as Konami, Bethesda, and Rockstar. Several of those listings included a £69.99 retail price (full price games in the UK typically retail at £59.99 on current-gen). The same pricing across console models, as well as the sheer number of game listings suggested that these were speculative, rather than informed listings from Amazon, and Amazon UK PR has now confirmed that. "This was an error," said an Amazon UK spokesperson to IGN. Speaking specifically to the PS5 console listing, it "was priced as a dummy product with a dummy price." [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/how-sonys-ps5-compatibility-differs-with-xbox-series-x-next-gen-console-watch"] Amazon will often create dummy listings ahead of announcement events, which can be filled out if and when those announcements are made - that goes some way towards explaining the scattershot approach to what was included in this swathe of listings. There's some discussion to be had over how Amazon UK arrived at those dummy prices, but it's unlikely that, if it did have privileged information, it would be posting it publicly before any potential announcements at today's PS5 event. PS5's price has been a constant talking point since its initial reveal. We don't know any specific retail numbers, but reports have said that it's running at a $450 manufacturing cost, that stock could be 'limited' in its first year, in part due to a hugher-than-expected price, but that COVID-19 hasn't affected its RRP. Netflix’s The Last Days of American Crime Joins the Rotten Tomatoes 0% Club

The consensus appears to be in: Netflix’s new dystopian thriller The Last Days of American Crime has entered an elite group of the worst movies ever made. Following its arrival on Netflix on June 5, The Last Days of American Crime is sitting at 0% on the Rotten Tomatoes ‘Tomatometer’ spectrum. None of the 28 reviews tracked to date have been positive. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=the-last-days-of-american-crime-gallery&captions=true"] As noted by Variety, only around 40 films have the distinction of retaining a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes after at least 20 reviews have been collected, placing The Last Days of American Crime in the company of esteemed corkers like Dennis Rodman’s Simon Sez, the 99-minute 1988 McDonald’s commercial Mac and Me, and Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol. Of course, without the 20-review caveat the list of films with 0% on Rotten Tomatoes is much larger; there’s a huge amount of dreck at the bottom of the Rotten Tomatoes barrel with only a small handful of reviews aggregated (including piles of direct-to-DVD debris and several other Police Academy sequels). Directed Olivier Megaton (Taken 2 and… Taken 3), The Last Days of American Crime is an action thriller based on a 2009 graphic novel of the same name. Set in the near future, the story revolves around a crew of crooks seeking to execute one, final big score before the government broadcasts a nationwide signal that will render the population unable to deliberately break the law. IGN’s review called it bloated, boring, and “distractingly dull.” [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/05/29/new-to-netflix-for-june-2020"] [poilib element="accentDivider"] Luke is Games Editor at IGN's Sydney office.
