Publisher Ragnarok Game has amended a lawsuit against Human Head Studios, suing Bethesda for $100 million over its alleged part in an "intentional sabotage" of Ragnarok's Rune 2 in an attempt to protect The Elder Scrolls franchise. As reported by PC Gamer, the lawsuit was originally filed in December of 2019 and focused on Human Head Studios, the original developers of Rune 2. Ragnarok claims that the developers intentionally abandoned the game upon launch and refused to turn over the source code, so the publisher is seeking damages and restitution. The reason Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Media are now involved in the suit is that Human Head Studios went out of business a day after the game's launch, only to be absorbed by Bethesda and re-opened as Roundhouse Studios on the same day. You can read the amended complaint here, which notes that Ragnarok "seeks redress for fraud and the intentional sabotage of two video games, Rune II and Oblivion Song." Oblivion Song wasn't announced, but it appears to be an adaptation of the popular Robert Kirkman comic book series that was left unfinished when Human Head Studios announced their departure. "Rune II was maliciously torpedoed in a conspiracy between the game's developer, desperate for cash, and a large video game conglomerate intent on destroying threats to its own video-game franchises," the complaint reads. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2019/11/05/rune-ii-co-op-trailer"] The suit alleges that Human Head contacted Bethesda and ZeniMax about a potential acquisition without notifying Ragnarok, and later provided the publisher with keys to a pre-release version of Rune 2, which allowed Bethesda to "see for themselves the threat that Rune II posed to their hit franchise, Skyrim/Elder Scrolls." Then, two weeks prior to Rune II's launch, Zenimax allegedly formed Roundhouse Studios and used the company "to purchase all of Human Head's equipment and take over its leases," which Ragnarok alleges contained trade secrets, source and materials relating to the two games. The complaint also mentions the PR troubles caused by the alleged sabotage, noting that in spite of the game's positive reviews, the next day Ragnarok was faced with headlines about the studio's departure and the wavering future of Rune 2 post-launch. For more on Rune 2, you can check out our preview of the game from 2019. Nintendo has pushed a patch to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that removes the unintentionally NSFW victory pose used by Minecraft Steve. The Mojang mascot arrived in-game on October 13, and shortly after fans made the internet aware of his provocative victory animation. If Steve triumphs over his Nintendo colleagues, he will start eating a piece of steak in the endgame screen and then hold the steak slab at waist height, creating an image rife with potential innuendo for those of us with a dirty mind.

However, Nintendo has now made it so that the steak vanishes after he eats it, removing its promiscuous potential. You can see Steve's new victory pose in the video above, uploaded by Twitter user Plun_Yu. This is one of the many tweaks introduced in the Ver. 9.0.1 update, issued on October 21. As well as getting rid of Steve's slab, the patch has fixed a few issues with the Minecart and Anvil moves used by the new suite of Minecraft characters. Microsoft's head of gaming Phil Spencer was shown the image in an interview with Kotaku's Stephen Totilo last week. After a long pause, Spencer responded "Yeah. Who did that?" before being told it was a real screenshot for the game, and saying, "I assume that will be fixed." Director Dexter Fletcher has confirmed that Sherlock Holmes 3 is currently "on the back burner" after facing new "issues" due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic this year. Appearing as a guest on the Celebrity Catch Up Podcast, Fletcher, who is taking over the franchise from Guy Ritchie, shared an update on the third Sherlock Holmes installment, as he admitted that the project had been put on hold indefinitely whilst they try to figure out a plan of action that will enable them to move forward with production. Fletcher explained that The Saint, his reboot of the 1997 action thriller that starred Val Kilmer, had faced the same challenges as Sherlock Holmes 3, as he cited COVID-19 travel bans and social gathering restrictions as the main "dilemma" for film productions. "They're both up against the same dilemma," he confirmed. "[It's] the same issue that we all [have]: How do you get large groups of people together to create something and then shift them all around the world? And what do you do with actors that are in a love scene? It's complicated." In his mind, the third film would serve as an entry point into a new "mystery-verse" that will feature multiple spinoffs backed by the lessons that he picked up from his "decade of tutelage" working on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The game itself is something of a mystery at this point, with only vague clues listed on the Kojima Productions careers pages. There are mentions of 3D model production for "weapons, gadgets, vehicles, mechas", and desired experience with "Event control system[s] in RPG", but there are very few specifics beyond that. Kojima himself has repeatedly hinted at (and scuppered the idea of) potential new games to follow Death Stranding, revealing that he's been watching scary movies to inspire a new horror game, quashed rumours that he was making a new Silent Hill game, and potentially teased a Death Stranding sequel. [poilib element="accentDivider"] After its launch just six months ago, bite-sized entertainment streaming service Quibi is shutting down. This follows news that Quibi was exploring a potential buyout or merger last month after raising nearly $2B in initial capital. As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Quibi is set to shutter the service according to a recent call to investors with co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg. He and his counterpart Meg Whitman launched the service in April with hopes that it would become “the third generation of film narrative,” according to an interview with the Los Angeles Times. While the idea of watching 5-10 minute chapters of movies or series sounds great on paper, the unfortunate timing of its launch as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began spreading rapidly clearly had an impact on a service that was designed to thrive while people are on-the-go. Sony has pushed Ghostbusters: Afterlife to next June and dated Don't Breathe 2 for 2021. Sony has adjusted the release date of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, a direct sequel to the original two Ghostbusters movies, to June 11, 2021, after an earlier delay from its original July 2020 release date to next March. In that same breath, Don't Breathe 2 was confirmed to be released on August 13, 2021. The first film, Don't Breathe, was released in 2016 as a critical and box office success, grossing $157 million worldwide on a $10 million budget. As for Don't Breathe 2, Rodo Sayagues will make his directorial debut with the film. He also co-wrote the script with longtime collaborator Fede Álvarez, who directed the first film. The duo also wrote the first film's script. Sony didn't spill any additional details about this sequel but back in 2016, Álvarez said he doesn't want the sequel to be the same as the first. Set to run from October 21 to November 3, players will have the chance to jump into the popular limited-time Halloween event, Fortnitemares, and score themselves several free cosmetic items before the event ends. To kick off the release of Fortnitemares 2020, an all-new game mode has been introduced. This game mode will see all eliminated players across Solo, Duos, and Squads return to battle as a Shadow. Working with other eliminated teammates, players will receive access to otherworldly abilities that will allow them to possess the body of vehicles, phase through obstacles, and even perform a deadly combat swipe attack as players attempt to earn themselves a Nitemare Royale.

Fortnitemares Weapons, Rewards, and Afterlife Event

As usual, Fortnitemares brings with it a set of unique Halloween themed weapons that can be found randomly across the map. This year's weapons will include the Pumpkin Rocket Launcher, the Fiend Hunter Crossbow, a Witch Broom, and even Shadow Midas' Drum Gun, which can be found upon killing Midas at The Ruins. What's a Fortnitemares event without rewards? Throughout the event, players will have the chance to complete a set of challenges to unlock all-new rewards such as Midas' Shadow Wrap, the Smash O'-Lantern Pickaxe, Bobo Back Bling, Loading Screens, and more. Along with the announcement, Reggaeton Global ambassador and four-time Latin GRAMMY winner J Balvin is set to present Afterlife Party, an exclusive Halloween music event. Debuting a brand new song featuring Sech, Balvin will take to the main stage in Party Royale on October 31, at 6 pm PT and 9 pm ET. That's November 1 at 2 am BST and 11 am AEST. How to Complete Every Fortnitemare Challenge

At present, there are only three Fortnitemare challenges, so be sure to check back as more unlock every three days until November 3. The following Fortnitemare challenges are currently available to complete:

• Become a Shadow
• Eat Candy
• Travel 100 meters on a Witch Broom

While the following challenges have not been 100% officially confirmed, the popular Fortnite Leaker, FireMonkey believes that we can expect to see the following challenges over the coming days:

• Deal damage with a Possessed Vehicle
• Detect players as a Shadow
• Eliminate Shadow Midas
• Eliminate shadows as Player
• Visit Different Witch Shacks
• Consume legendary loot as a Shadow

How to Find and Eat Candy

One of the first challenges to complete in the Fortnitemares event is to find and eat 25 pieces of candy. As easy as it may sound, many have been left wondering exactly where you can find these pieces of candy. Thankfully, candy is relatively easy to find, as it will be available at the majority of houses across the Fortnite map. In order to find candy, simply land outside of a house and make your way to the front door. As you near the door, you will often find two buckets of candy. Using your Pickaxe or Weapon, destroy the buckets to receive several pieces of candy. As far as we are aware, there are currently 5 different candies to loot, with each candy offering a different effect when eaten.

• Hop Drop: Will provide a low gravity effect.
• Thermal Taffy: Will provide you to see enemies in thermal.
• Pepper Ming: Will provide a large speed boost.
• Candy Corn: A current, we are unsure of the effects of Candy Corn.
• Jelly Bean: A current, we are unsure of the effects of the Jelly Bean.

Furthermore, each of these five candies has the ability to provide a small increase to your health when eaten.

How to Become a Shadow

Arguably the simplest challenge on the list, you will have the ability to become a Shadow by simply being eliminated during the match. Upon dying, you'll return as a Shadow and can begin the process of raining havoc upon those that are still alive.

How to Find a Witches Broom and Travel 100 Meters (Every Known Location)

Scattered across the map, players will find Witch Shacks. These shacks will contain Witch Brooms, which can be found just outside of the shack inside of a large barrel. If you're struggling to find a Witch Shack, consider checking out the locations that we have marked on our Broom Locations map below to find every known Witch Shack currently in Fortnitemares. Once you have located the Witch Broom, interact with it to begin flying through the air. Similar to the Silver Surfer board, the Witch Broom will have a 20 second cool down.

How to Detect Players as a Shadow

When playing as a Shadow, you’ll have four otherworldly abilities that include:

• Slash: A ghastly combo swipe attack.
• Dash: Phase through obstacles.
• Scream: Mark nearby survivors for Shadows in Range.
• Shadow Jump: A high, floaty leap into the air.

For those playing on Xbox One or PS4, simply use the Scream ability by pressing L1 on PS4 and LB on Xbox One to scan the area for nearby enemies.

Eliminate Shadow Midas

Claiming what was once The Agency, Shadow Midas and his group of Henchmen now call The Ruins home. In order to eliminate Shadow Midas, make your way towards The Ruins, which can be found in the middle of the map. Once you reach the building, head inside and continue to the bottom floor, where you will most likely find Midas. Shadow Midas has plenty of health, so you'll want to use the crates, pillars, or building materials to block his incoming attacks. During our experience, we found that Midas was quite simple to eliminate, especially when using powerful weapons such as the Combat Shotgun, Assault Rifle, and SMG. For those wanting to get into the Halloween spirit, you'll even find that a Pumpkin Launcher will do the job just fine. Along with receiving XP for completing the challenge, you will also obtain Shadow Midas' Drum Gun. As this challenge has been rumored to become available in the coming days, The Ruins will undoubtedly become an incredibly populated area, making the task of eliminating Shadow Midas quite challenging. Zack Snyder has been given the green light to proceed with the Snyder Cut of Justice League and Jared Leto will be onboard reprising his Joker role from Suicide Squad. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Leto will play his version of The Joker, who first appeared in 2016’s Suicide Squad, in Zack Snyder's Justice League. Leto will be a part of the Snyder Cut reshoots for the planned, four-episode event for HBO Max. After a version of the film, completed by Joss Whedon, was released to middling-to-poor reviews, fans began petitioning Warner Bros. to release Snyder's original version of the Justice League. That request was answered earlier this year when WB announced that Zack Snyder's Justice League would be released as an HBO Max exclusive in 2021. Details about what will be in Zack Snyder's Justice League have trickled out and are some times conflicting. Although originally reported that the new Justice League cut will not have reshoots with the original cast, it was later reported that Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher will return in October for reshoots. "“I would say that if the president’s lawyer found what he did there appropriate behavior then heaven knows what he’s doing with other female journalists in hotel rooms," Cohen said, before going on to explain how they built a hideaway for him to be able to monitor what transpired between Bakalova and Giuliani.

[poilib element="accentDivider"] Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and the current personal attorney of President Donald Trump, is now embroiled in a personal scandal after being caught in a compromising position in the new film Borat 2, which is being released on Amazon on October 23. Actress Maria Bakalova, in her feature film debut, plays Borat's daughter Tutar - an aspiring journalist who, in a pivotal scene near the end of the film, interviews Giuliani about the Trump Administration's COVID-19 response. Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen, in disguise, appears as Tutar's sound operator. Shot this past July, "Tutar" and Giuliani's interview takes place in a New York City hotel room. The interview begins with them exchanging pleasantries and they are seen making physical contact during the interview. Giuliani is flirtatious with Tutar and is seen coughing throughout the segment. [ignvideo width=610 height=374 url=https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/10/20/borat-2-official-pregnancy-center-clip] After the interview, Tutar/Bakalova and Giuliani enter an adjacent bedroom that has a concealed camera in it. Shortly thereafter Giuliani is seen leaning back on the bed, undoing his trousers, reaching into his pants, and appearing to touch himself. It's then that Cohen's Borat, dressed in a bikini, reenters the scene and interrupts Giuliani, yelling, "She’s 15. She’s too old for you.” (Bakalova is not underage but her character Tutar is supposed to be 15 years-old.) Giuliani then flees the hotel room and is seen interacting with his team outside. At no point during this scene do we see Tutar/Bakalova make any sexual contact with Giuliani but she does remove his microphone in the bedroom. Rudy Giuliani took to Twitter on Wednesday to address his appearance in Borat 2, claiming at no point did he act "inappropriate" and alleging that the footage was manipulated. "The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment," Giuliani wrote. "At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar." Giuliani went on to claim that he's the victim of a political smear attack in "an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family."

The former New York City mayor called the NYPD after the faux interview but reportedly didn't immediately recognize the prankster as Cohen. As it was reported by the New York Post at the time, Giuliani made no mention of the sexual nature of how the scene ended, only relaying that Cohen interrupted the interview and that he thought he was being scammed. Giuliani did say at the time that he was a fan of the first Borat film. “This guy comes running in, wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit ... I only later realized it must have been Sacha Baron Cohen. I thought about all the people he previously fooled and I felt good about myself because he didn’t get me,” Giuliani told the Post in July, adding, “I am a fan of some of his movies, ‘Borat’ in particular, because I’ve been to Kazakhstan. [Adopting a Borat accent, Guiliani repeats a famous line from the movie:] ‘She is my sister. She is number four prostitute in all of Kazakhstan.’ That was pretty funny.” As part of the movie's plot, Borat initially needs to gift his daughter Tutar to Vice President Mike Pence on behalf of the leader of Kazakhstan. When that fails he then tries to gift her to Giuliani. By the time the Giuliani scene arrives, though, Borat has had a change of heart and wants to stop the gifting even though it may cost him his life once he returns home to Kazakhstan.
