2021 MVP Named in Puppy Bowl XVII
Marshall, a 15-week old Boston Terrier playing in his rookie year in the prestigious Puppy Bowl, has been officially named the Puppy Bowl XVII MVP. Hailing from Salem, VA, Marshall dug deep and pulled hard for his team as part of the 2021 Starting Line-Up at this year's Puppy Bowl.
Snoop Dogg and Jailbird Martha Stewart were there to kick off the 17th annual Puppy Bowl, which once again pitted champion against chomp'ion in a battle for the Lombarky Trophy. While the world outside of Geico Stadium has been forced to take a time-out all year long, no quarantine could keep these canine competitors from doing their doody on the field. Team Ruff in their "Fido-range" bandannas were looking for something missing after the "Blue Bones" of the Fluff team neutered their chances of a threepeat in 2020's startling upset, but the Ruffs aren't the type to turn tail and flee from a challenge. The two greatest to ever play the game were unleashed in a battle to see who would come out as top dog, making this one Bowl game not to miss!
Puppy Bowl XVII MVP (Most Valuable Puppy) award winner Marshall may be hearing-impaired, but there's no mistaking the woof of this warrior -- on the field and off. Playing for Team Fluff, Marshall scored a rare spinning-double-touchdown in the first quarter to give his team an early lead. When not scoring touchdowns at the Puppy Bowl, Marshall trains with Puppy Bowl XVI veteran Killian at Green Dogs Unleashed to become a therapy dog for those in need.

This was the sweet 17th annual Puppy Bowl, but for the fans of the underdog Ruff team, they saw their their team spending much of the game with the same view as a musher in the Iditarod: nothing but the lead dog hinder. With big touchdown scores from the MVP "Mad Dog" Marshall, Milky Way the "Terrible Bruiser" Terrier/Boxer, and Beliveau the Beautiful, the Fluffs were top dogs going into the half, and they continued to rub Ruff's nose into their mess by taking a two touchdown lead in the third. Still, these young dogs on the Ruffs were ready to learn some new tricks to keep the tug-of-war going. "Multiple" Muffin heated things up with twin touchdowns, and Tank the "Rotten" Rottweiler also took it to the doghouse twice. In the final few seconds of the game, it was "Wiseguy" Paulie up against a mob of Terriers and Coonhounds as he battled Milky Way and Aaron Pawgers for the big score that would end it all.
Final score: 69 to 73 for the Ruffs, and the big dogs are back on top.

Each and every one of these canine competitors left it all on the field in this year's big game. Super Bowl Sunday isn't just about football. It's also long been a huge opportunity for Hollywood to promote some of their hottest upcoming movies during what is frequently the most-watched live TV event in the US every year.
But with the pandemic perpetually postponing film openings, studios are expected to dial back on pushing theatrical releases in their Big Game Spots this year in favor of touting their respective streaming services and hybrid theatrical/digital movie releases.
The first big movie spot to drop during the pre-game for Super Bowl LV was for F9, Universal's next installment in their long-running Fast & Furious saga. The movie was supposed to open last year but was postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic. The studio also dropped a spot for Nobody, their upcoming action-thriller that sees Bob Odenkirk go full John Wick on a bunch of bad guys.
Universal also revealed the first trailer for director M. Night Shyamalan's next thriller, Old.
Disney also dropped the first look at Marvel's Falcon and the Winter Soldier and a new spot for Raya and the Last Dragon.

Zack Snyder Confirms Justice League Trailer Date
Director Zack Snyder has announced a trailer for his upcoming cut of Justice League will arrive on February 14 at 9:14am PST.
The filmmaker confirmed the news via Twitter, alongside a brief glimpse of Victor Stone’s life as a footballer prior to becoming Cyborg.
The re-cut film will reportedly contain around 150 minutes of unseen footage and "about four minutes or five minutes of additional photography." It will also boast a new score by Junkie XL (Tom Holkenborg), who was replaced by composer Danny Elfman when Joss Whedon assumed directorial duties on the original 2017 version of Justice League. Snyder's R-rated Justice League comes to HBO Max on March 18. As usual, companies spared no expense when it came to celebrity casting for this year's Super Bowl, from Mike Myers and Dana Carvey returning for Wayne's World to Patrick Stewart dancing to Spongebob's "Sweet Victory" to Will Ferrell picking a fight with Norway.
The latest big game spot, released online pre-event, takes a page from the Bruce Willis Die Hard Battery commercial from a few months ago in that it actually acts as a mini-sequel to a popular film. In this case, it's Timotheé Chalamet starring in a follow-up to Tim Burton's 1990 classic, Edward Scissorhands.
Chalamet, acting alongside original Edward Scissorhands star Winona Ryder, who reprises her role as Kim, plays Edward's son Edgar for a Cadillac spot advertising the car manufacturer's new All-Electric Cadillac LYRIQ.

Along with Timotheé Chalamet starring in Denis Villeneuve's upcoming Dune adaptation, it's being said that Warner Bros. is possibly eyeing Chalamet for the role of a young Willy Wonka for a prequel movie currently in development.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection: 343 Teases a ‘New Place and Way to Play’
343 Industries has teased that there just might be a "new place and way to play" Halo: The Master Chief Collection in the near future.
343 revealed the news in its latest MCC Weekly Flighting and Development Update, and said that, while "things can change," it is trying to offer fans of this Halo collection a new way to play.
While many would love to see Halo: The Master Chief Collection come to Switch or PS5, this is most likely a hint that we may see this game arrive on the Epic Games Store or possibly Xbox's Cloud Gaming (beta) with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on iOS and PC.

The Master Chief Collection wouldn't be the first Microsoft-published game to make its way to the Epic Games Store, as State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition is currently available for purchase.
As for Cloud Gaming, Microsoft did confirm that Xbox's Cloud Gaming (beta) with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate would be coming to iOS devices and PC in Spring 2021, so the timing could work out, even if it would be a bit on the earlier side of Spring. MCC is already one of the games featured on Cloud Gaming for Android devices.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection recently got a 4K/120FPS upgrade for Xbox Series X, and gave fans another way to play the game we re-reviewed and in 2019 gave a 9.5/10.
