All 74 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Characters Have Been Revealed, DLC and Fighters Pass Announced

During the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct, Director Masahiro Sakurai confirmed that after today's presentation, there will be no more full characters announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but a full DLC plan is in place for more to be added in the future.

This will bring the total character count of fighters to 74, not including echo fighters like the recently announced Ken, in which more may still be revealed.

Ken Masters and Incineroar Join Super Smash Bros. Roster

Director of Nintendo, Masahiro Sakurai, announced Thursday during the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct two new fighters who are joining the roster.

So far 72 fighters have been confirmed.

The new additions include Ken Masters as a new echo fighter and Incineroar, the Pokemon who will use primarily pro wrestling moves in his fighting.

Ken's appearance is based on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, and has a wheel attack, a focus attack, and his kicks will change based on your command inputs. The shape of Ken's Hadoken is different and he is faster than Ryu, along with having other tweaks from different previous titles.

Incineroar is the advanced evolution of Litten, who is mainly used for his wrestling moves in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – including his love to pose for the audience, which you can cancel to get him back in focus of the fight.

Dreams Could Be Where a New Generation of Electronic Musicians Get Their Start

I don’t know how to explain Dreams to you. This enigmatic storytelling platform is so expansive it’s hard to pin down. Every time I see it, however, there’s always something that blows my mind, and in a recent demo at PAX Australia, it was audio. Dreams has, is, one of the most fully featured audio interfaces I’ve seen outside of industry standard software.

And the best part is that the demo wasn’t even meant to be focused on audio. My host, game designer and programmer at Media Molecule, Daniel Kidney, had been demoing the game for about 14 hours when I got to him so he was ready to go off script. He asked what I wanted to see. And on a whim, I said audio.

Netflix Is Changing Things Up By Releasing 3 Movies in Theaters Early

Netflix is debuting three of its award-contender movies in theatres before they appear on its streaming service.

Alfonso Cuarón's Oscar-contender Roma will debut in several cinemas across LA, New York City and Mexico on November 21st, three weeks before it appears on Netflix. The Coen Brothers' The Ballad of Buster Scruggs will appear in theatres a week before on November 8, and Susanne Bier's Bird Box will also get a week-long theatrical berth beginning December 13.

The move marks an acknowledgment on behalf of the distributor that the theatrical experience is still important (particularly during awards season), despite past suggestions from Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos to the contrary.
