Capcom Bringing Mega Man, Monster Hunter to Mobile

Capcom is ramping up its mobile efforts with plans to "aggressively" leverage its popular franchises by releasing mobile games based on Mega Man, Monster Hunter and more.

The company announced it's reorganizing its mobile operations and has established a Mobile Business Division with a goal of producing "hit titles both domestically and abroad by aggressively utilizing the company's popular IP."

In fact, Capcom said it plans to launch four games based on its "popular brands" before March 31, 2017, specifically citing Mega Man, Monster Hunter and Sengoku BASARA.

Earlier this year, Mega Man Legacy Collection made its way to Nintendo 3DS, which IGN's Jared Petty praised as being an "object lesson for how game compilations should be engineered." For more on Capcom's beloved Blue Bomber, check out our ranking of all ten main-series Mega Man games.

Netflix’s Iron Fist Casts a New Ally

Game of Thrones' Jessica Henwick will play the female lead in Marvel's Iron Fist.

EW reports that Henwick will play martial artist Colleen Wing, a dojo owner who befriends the lead character. She joins Finn Jones, who will play Danny Rand (aka Iron Fist).

Not only is Henwick the second casting announcement for Iron Fist, she's also the second casting from HBO's Game of Thrones. She plays Nymeria Sand, while Jones plays the knight Ser Loras Tyrell. She also had a brief appearance as X-Wing pilot Jessika Pava in The Force Awakens.

Casting the role of Danny Rand was the fourth and final piece in piecing together Netflix's Defenders team-up. Similar to the Avengers in the Marvel cinematic universe, the Defenders will be composed of characters that all had their stories established in their own standalone Netflix series. Iron Fist will join Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), and Luke Cage (Mike Colter).
