Point Break DLC Coming to Payday 2

Starbreeze has announced new content for Payday 2 that will “integrate characters and storylines” from Point Break into the Payday universe. That is, the upcoming Point Break remake – not the 1991 original.

The ‘Point Break Heists’ and the ‘Bohdi Character Pack’ for Payday 2 will be released on December 3 (the film itself releases on December 25 in North America, January 1, 2016 in Australia/NZ, and February 12, 2016 in the UK). The ‘Point Break Heists’ pack will be USD$7 and contain two all new heists: ‘Beneath the Mountain’ and ‘Birth of Sky’. The ‘Bodhi Character Pack’ will be free for all Payday 2 players and will introduce Bodhi as a new playable character and include a new sniper rifle primary weapon, a new melee weapon, and two new masks.

Called Barrier, the 53-page story is available on Panel Syndicate with words by Vaughan, art by Martin, and colors by Munsta Vicente. As is the case with all comics on the service, the series is creator-owned, DRM-free, and available on a pay-what-you-want model.

The only teaser shown for the story is a single image, tweeted with the announcement of the comic by Vaughan. It shows what looks like a darkly lit border station posted somewhere in the desert.

Read the Superhero Registration Act from Captain America: Civil War

We got our hands on the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 2 Box Set, which is full of items and props seen in the movies. One item in particular caught our eye (as it's from the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie), The Sokovia Accords document calling for the registration of the Avengers. In the Civil War comic by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, this was better known as the Superhero Registration Act.

Wrestling Wrap Up: New Stable Alert! The League of Nations

Viva la League-a!

Yup. I like the League of Nations. A lot. As I mentioned last week, when Sheamus' squad seemed to merely consist of Rusev and Barrett, I enjoy Sheamus using these guys to protect his title. Because they're all formidable. And this works to lift them up and out of of their separate ruts. And the more Sheamus surrounds himself with bunch of bruisers, the less we have to see from the Authority. And the more we don't have to watch a repeat of the Seth Rollins/Randy Orton situation of the "heel champ constantly being scolded by Triple H and Steph whenever they feel like playing to the crowd and being babyfaces for a hot minute."
