Captain America 2 Writers on Adapting Civil War for the MCU

During the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, IGN joined a small group of journalists to chat with Captain America: The First Avenger/Captain America: The Winter Soldier screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely about returning to write the third film, Captain America: Civil War (and their TV series Agent Carter, but more on that later).

Naturally, with Marvel's formidable secrecy, there were few specifics they could give on the film, which -- like the comic book story it's based on -- will involve Captain America and Iron Man at odds with one another. However, they did touch on the Black Panther casting, the relationship between Tony Stark and Peggy Carter, balancing the Civil War comic storyline with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the film's tone.

The Walking Dead Adds New Series Regular

The Walking Dead has added yet another series regular, as Ross Marquand is set to join the cast.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marquand (Down and Dangerous) will appear in AMC's hit zombie series sometime in the second half of Season 5, and will likely return for The Walking Dead's previously announced sixth season.

While AMC isn't ready to share details on Marquand's character, early speculation suggests that he may play Aaron, an Alexandria resident from The Walking Dead comic series. It's a safe bet as the series' creator, Robert Kirkman, said they'll be introducing a "very prominent gay character from the comic" in the second half of Season 5.

Producer Likens Monopoly Movie to Goonies

The long-gestating Monopoly movie reportedly begins shooting this summer, and according to producer Randall Emmett (2 Guns), the film can be compared to the 1980's treasure-hunt classic, The Goonies.

Implied Sexual Violence Saw Hotline Miami 2 Refused Classification in Australia

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number was refused classification in Australia due to a sequence featuring a “visual depiction of implied sexual violence.”

A copy of the report regarding the decision obtained by IGN from the Classification Board details the offending portion of the game.

Warning - the below description is graphic.

“In the sequence of game play

footage titled Midnight Animal, the protagonist character bursts into what appears to be a movie set and explicitly kills 4 people, who collapse to the floor in a pool of copious blood, often accompanied by blood splatter. After stomping on the head of a fifth male character, he strikes a female character wearing red underwear. She is knocked to the floor and is viewed lying face down in a pool of copious blood. The male character is viewed with his pants halfway down, partially exposing his buttocks. He is viewed pinning the female down by the arms and lying on top of her thrusting, implicitly raping her (either rear entry or anally) while her legs are viewed kicking as she struggles beneath him. This visual depiction of implied sexual violence is emphasised by it being mid-screen, with a red backdrop pulsating and the remainder of the screen being surrounded by black.
